About the role

Hello Vacanze, through its InsightUp spin-off, is building a data analytics platform for the tourism sector and needs a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to help develop it. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, with responsibility for integrating data from management systems, digital platforms and external sources to support advanced analytics and predictive models.

Day to day you will build and maintain ETL pipelines, design batch and real-time data flows, manage and tune relational databases, and create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. You will also work with the wider team to keep data quality and accessibility high across the platform.

Highlights

Core stack: Python, SQL, PySpark, MySQL/PostgreSQL and Power BI
Hands-on work with ETL, batch and real-time pipelines, and data streaming tools such as Kafka or Spark Streaming
Nice to have: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, web scraping, Django or Flask, and cloud platforms AWS, GCP or Azure
