About the role

Lutech is hiring a Data Engineer for its Data Analytics practice, based in Napoli with hybrid working. The role sits within the AI, Data and Hyperautomation function and focuses on designing and building modern data solutions, including distributed data architectures and integration pipelines. You will work on ETL/ELT pipelines that pull from heterogeneous sources, build data models following Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lakehouse patterns with Medallion Architecture, and manage platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. Performance tuning, data quality control and processing optimisation are part of the day to day.

The position requires at least 2 to 3 years of data engineering experience, a STEM degree, strong SQL and data modelling skills, plus Python and PySpark. Familiarity with Azure data services and cloud architecture concepts is expected. Nice to have skills include OneLake, Delta Lake, Parquet, CI/CD with GitLab and Power BI.
