Data Engineer

Iliad Italia is hiring a Data Engineer for its Data Platform team in Milan. The team builds and evolves the data foundations behind business intelligence, machine learning and AI. The role supports data acquisition and transformation processes, develops ETL/ELT pipelines and contributes to data models, governance, pipeline observability and performance improvements, with guidance from experienced data professionals.

The position is intended for candidates with 0-2 years of data experience, including internships and academic or personal projects. Core requirements include basic SQL and relational database concepts, a programming or scripting language such as Python, familiarity with ETL/ELT and data modeling, and English. Exposure to tools such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Spark, Docker or BI and ML platforms is useful. The Milan-based role offers up to eight remote-work days per month.
