About the role
Alpaca is hiring a data platform leader to guide its Platform Engineering team, which supports analytics, partner invoicing, revenue attribution and regulatory reporting across the company. The role owns the department’s data strategy and roadmap, manages three team leads, and balances delivery with longer-term investments in self-service analytics and AI-enabled data products.

The director will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Product, Compliance and Customer Success, while making architecture decisions and representing data capabilities to executives. Alpaca seeks substantial data engineering and management experience, a modern data stack background, and experience with financial data and distributed teams.
