Forward-Deployed AI Engineer - Internship

Gemmo, a boutique AI firm focused on financial services, is hiring a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer Intern for its AI Lab in Milan. This is a 6-month paid internship designed to convert into a permanent Forward-Deployed AI Engineer role. You will be embedded with enterprise clients in regulated financial services, owning AI solutions from business problem through production. The role blends business analysis, AI engineering, and software engineering, with a dedicated mentor and no handoffs to other teams.

You will work with Python, SQL, PyTorch, XGBoost, FastAPI, Snowflake, Postgres, Azure, and AWS, and use coding agents like Claude Code. The schedule is 3 days in the Milan office and 2 days remote.
