About the role
ELT Group is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer based in Bari to design and develop efficient, scalable artificial intelligence models aimed at optimising the company's product ecosystem. The role sits within a defence electronics and security group that also works across Cyber, Space and Biodefence domains, with three Italian sites and operations in 11 countries.
Day to day, you will build machine learning solutions by implementing state of the art learning algorithms, design advanced data feature extraction methods, and handle model selection, tuning and rigorous validation to ensure accuracy and reliability. You will also create working prototypes for proposed solutions and coordinate strategic partnerships with universities, research centres and external consultants.
