About the role
ELT Group is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Bari site, working on artificial intelligence for the company's defence electronics, cyber, space and biodefence product ecosystem. The role centres on designing and developing efficient, scalable AI models and integrating them into existing software modules, applying state of the art machine learning methods to keep performance high and innovation continuous.
Day to day you will implement advanced learning algorithms to solve complex problems and optimise existing processes, design and develop advanced data feature extraction methodologies, and select, tune and rigorously validate predictive models for accuracy and reliability. You will also ideate, design and build working prototypes for proposed solutions, and manage strategic partnerships by coordinating collaborations with universities, research centres and external consultants. The position is permanent under the CCNL Industria Metalmeccanica e della Installazione.
