About the role
Sky is hiring a Manager Data Scientist for its Milan hub in the Rogoredo, Santa Giulia district. This is a senior individual contributor role rather than a traditional people-management position: you will act as the data science lead on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, owning complex projects end to end and partnering with business and technology stakeholders to turn data into measurable impact. The team works across machine learning, AI, statistical modeling, and experimentation in complex, multi-source big data environments.
You will frame ambiguous business questions as structured analytical problems, make methodology and technical direction decisions, deploy ML and AI models to production, and promote high standards in code quality, reproducibility, and model governance.
