    About the role

ElevenLabs is hiring a Research Engineer to build the data infrastructure behind its frontier AI models. The work includes large-scale pipelines for collecting, filtering, and transforming training datasets, plus models such as classifiers and quality filters used within those pipelines. You will design curation methods-including deduplication, scoring, labeling, and augmentation-and build tools that help researchers work with massive datasets reliably.

The team is looking for strong engineering skills in distributed data processing and experience building data intensive systems, ideally for machine learning training. You should be able to independently assess how data quality and composition affect model outcomes, then create ways to measure and improve them. Formal degrees and certifications are not required; project artifacts or contributions can demonstrate your ability. The position is remote worldwide, with optional offices in London, New York, San Francisco, and Warsaw.

    Highlights

    • Own data systems that support model training.
    • Build scalable pipelines and dataset curation tooling.
    • Train filtering and labeling models.
    • Remote role that can be performed globally.
