SENIOR AI Architect & Data Science

Italgas, through its digital subsidiary Bludigit, is hiring a Senior AI Architect and Data Science specialist to act as the technical reference for AI solution design and advanced analytical models. The role sits at the intersection of architecture and hands-on data science, covering model design, architectural definition, and technical validation in collaboration with engineers and data scientists.

The position involves designing AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science architectures, including Lakehouse and Data Mesh data architectures, and defining patterns for Generative AI adoption such as RAG, Vector Search, and AI Agents. You will also build ML, Deep Learning, and NLP models for industrial use.

Highlights

• Permanent contract under the CCNL Gas Acqua, level 8-Q, with a base salary between 50,000 and 60,000 EUR gross per year over 14 months.
• Hybrid setup with up to 10 smart working days per month, plus meal vouchers of 12 EUR in office or 7 EUR when remote.
• Work with Azure, Databricks, PySpark, MLflow, Unity Catalog, and modern Generative AI patterns.
• Locations available in Milan or Turin, with occasional travel if required.
