Senior AI Backend Engineer (Product Neuro Forge Team)

AppFollow builds tools for app developers and product teams to manage app reviews and improve store performance. Reviews and ratings are the company’s core data, and this role turns that feedback into product features such as categorization, summaries, generated replies, semantic search, anomaly detection, and conversational tools.

The Senior AI Backend Engineer owns these capabilities from prototype through production monitoring and iteration. The work combines practical ML and NLP with backend development: building APIs and services, developing RAG and evaluation pipelines, and tuning inference quality, latency, and cost. The engineer will use commercial LLM APIs and open source models, collaborate on system architecture, and integrate features with existing services. The role calls for substantial production software and ML/NLP experience; model training from scratch is not required.
