About the role
Jimdo is hiring a Senior AI Fullstack Engineer to build Jimdo Companion, an AI assistant intended to help entrepreneurs automate business tasks and make decisions. The role spans backend systems, frontend experiences, and agentic workflows using large language models. You would develop agent orchestration, recommendation engines, scalable APIs, and reusable AI platform capabilities, while evaluating LLM workflows, prompts, and guardrails.
This is a senior individual contributor position with influence over technical direction and a remit to enable other product teams to build AI-powered features. The team works closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and engineers. Jimdo seeks someone with 5+ years of software engineering experience, including senior or technical leadership experience, strong Node.js, TypeScript, and React skills, and experience shipping LLM-based products to production users.
