About the role
BCG Platinion is hiring a Senior AI Tech Architect in Milan to own end-to-end solution architecture across API strategy, data platform design, cloud infrastructure, and AI engineering. You will set architectural standards for enterprise-grade AI platforms, define governance frameworks for AI-powered systems including trust boundaries, identity models, validation hierarchies, and audit mechanisms, and architect evaluation and security programs spanning red-teaming, adversarial testing, and compliance-by-design in CI/CD pipelines.
The role sits between boardroom strategy and hands-on delivery. You will translate executive intent into multi-horizon AI architectures, act as a technical authority with C-suite and CTO-level clients, and codify reusable patterns and governance playbooks. BCG Platinion expects 6 to 9 years in software development or technical roles with enterprise-scale cloud, backend, or systems integration experience, plus production experience with LLM-based applications, multi-agent architectures, and ML.
