As a Senior Backend & AI Engineer, you’ll work across product discovery and engineering: speak with customers, identify problems, shape solutions, and build backend services in Go and Python that turn tenders, catalogs, and purchase orders into reliable data. The company says its product matching processes 1,400 tender positions in 16 minutes at 98% precision.
You’ll ship features, observe how customers use them, iterate, and take responsibility for production issues. The role also involves designing systems that work with AI agents and simplifying the platform over time. Scalera is looking for someone who has built and operated production backend systems, is strong in Go or Python, and is comfortable with ambiguity and direct customer contact. Work is remote within the EU or EEA.
