Satispay, the Milan fintech behind Italy's most used mobile payment app, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for its data platform team.
The role owns the evolution of the platform rather than just pipeline maintenance: a lakehouse built around Redshift and Redshift Serverless, a central dbt framework with CI/CD and testing that lets analysts self-serve their own models, and Airflow orchestration for batch and near-real-time workloads. You would also own the ML platform and feature store, run streaming pipelines on Flink or Spark Streaming, and supervise ingestion across Fivetran and custom Python.
They want 5+ years of platform experience, strong SQL plus Python, Java or Scala, and fluency in Italian and English. Hybrid in Milan, three days a week in office.
