Senior/Staff AI Application Engineer - Heterogeneous Computing

Axelera AI is hiring a Senior or Staff AI Application Engineer for heterogeneous computing. The Model Enablement team builds the platform that determines how models execute across its AI processing units, host CPUs, and other accelerators. The role combines architecture with hands-on engineering across model ingestion, graph compilation, runtime behavior, and application pipelines.

You will build reusable tools for partitioning, compiling, running, profiling, and verifying models, and optimize end-to-end performance with compiler and runtime teams. The source requests at least eight years of relevant engineering experience, system-level design ownership, strong C++ and Python, and familiarity with ML graph representations. AI coding agents are part of the team's daily workflow. Fully remote work from any European country, including Italy, is expressly available; office and relocation options are alternatives.
