About the role
Prima is hiring a Software/Data Engineer for its pricing and underwriting domain, where the role connects machine learning and data science with engineering. The engineer will build, publish, and maintain data products and pipelines used for analytics and data science, including forecasting, feature engineering, customer behaviour, and new data source integration.
The work includes shaping data product architecture, setting practices for data modelling, performance, and governance, and building reusable systems for teams to ingest, transform, and serve data. Prima seeks experience with distributed batch and streaming pipelines, cloud data platforms, Python, SQL and NoSQL databases, and DevOps practices. The role also involves working closely with data scientists and ML engineers.
