Visiting Forward Deployed AI Scientist, Italy - BCG X

BCG X, the technology and data science arm of Boston Consulting Group, is hiring a Visiting Forward Deployed AI Scientist based in Milan. The team owns the full analytics value chain, from framing business challenges and designing algorithms to deploying scalable AI solutions and helping clients adopt them. You will apply data science, statistics, and operations research methods to real business problems across industries, and may contribute to thought leadership, papers, and conferences.

The role suits intellectually curious builders who are comfortable in client-facing work and can explain complex data science concepts clearly. You will need strong project management skills, a deep understanding of modern machine learning and its mathematical foundations, and fluency in both Italian and English. The position is open to candidates currently enrolled in.
